What Happens to this Blog?

I will answer that question by asking you another question. What do you want to happen to this blog? 1390 views since it was started a month ago. Rondah & I have enjoyed reading daily everybody's caregiving experience with Laverne's rehabilitation. We enjoyed reading it as much as we had enjoyed writing in it those first few days before during and after Laverne's surgery. Our hope is it would continue and expand to include different topics besides mice. All members of the family including our children should be invited and encouraged to opine.I think I can change the title. The Bernard Family Blog? How about Eeek Mice? Mice eating underpants, chair stuffing and running around the ceiling was a common theme of the past blog. Maybe, we should call it Hickory Nuts since we all took turns blowing the driveway and had our fill of those damm nuts. I still haven't recovered from the couple that hit me in the head. Hickory Nuts sounds appropriate.I imagine that the purpose of the blog would be to tell our stories. Stories that would be told to each other if we all still lived in Chicago and were having family get togethers on a regular basis at weekend barbeques and holiday events. Stories that are not told because we live to far apart. Sheena's wedding made Rondah and I realize how much we have missed those family get togethers. Maybe, you just want to let others know that you saw a great movie, brag about your football team, or vent about a bad experience with a company. The only thing that should be avoided is politics and religion since we want to avoid family feuds as well. Writing can be cathartic. Maybe, this blog can serve that purpose too. The blog will only work if you provide something to read on a regular basis. Technology has made it easy to read or write on this blog. I just hit the orange B on my smart phone and I can read or write something with a touch of a button. These last few weeks I have probably checked the blog twice a day. Thank you for the updates. So, let me know what you think about continuing the blog and who else you would like me to invite to contribute. The URL would stay the same. Hmmm, Hickory Nuts.
