Just talked to Norah and Mom. Pat & Andrew left at 10 am and Norah arrived at 11 am, good timing! She's reading through the Blue Book to see what she's been missing. It took her 12 hours to drive in (left Sunday 10 am but stopped 3 hours outside of Gatlinburg in Berria (?sp) listening to Books on Tape. Helped Mom with PT at home; mom will do PT Mon, Th and Fri this week as July 4 is a holiday. Norah brought a HotSpot from work, so can connect on the internet for work. Still couldn't figure out the blog part. Heated Rondah's pizza for dinner.
Mom's wound sounds good. SteriStrip is coming off, so Norah can clip the loose ends off; she'll also cover the upper scab if it starts to catch. Mom's spending more time outdoors, which sounds good. She's been walking on the deck with the ski poles. Now we need to get her to eat more food to gain back the weight she's lost.
Norah will look into PeaPod or Food City deliveries. Mom helped Norah fold the linen from Pat & Andrew, tomorrow it's clothes laundry from M&D, about a week's work. Norah will be busy.
Thank you all for your "shifts"! It sounds like Mom is making steady progress, and they told me that they appreciate the way we've all chipped in, despite what they say!
Rondah, send us a picture of poor Bailey!
