POD #6.5

Great news for all...I found that McDonalds has wifi so I was able to get some work done while slurping a strawberry lemonade. The library also has computers but they have limited hours.
Today I picked up the application for handicapped placards, went to Moore's office (spent 45 mins chatting southern style, that doesn't fly in Boston). Tomorrow we'll go to the courthouse and get a placard.
Exercises were good today. Mom's up and around more easily. She's sitting in Grandma's rocking chair which gives her good support. Dinner was easy: I did exactly what I was told to do (hamburger, potatoes from a box, green beans frozen and salad).
Didn't achieve my goals of pruning the front bushes but tomorrow's another day. I'm surprised how time flies...
Before I forget, just leave all egos at the door when you come. Everything has its place and you better not move it. They have their routine down pat and it's easier to just respect it. Dad wrote out the menus and shopping list for next week, tomorrow we'll go grocery shopping.
That's it for Tuesday...Wednesday promises to be busy with grocery shopping with Dad, visit with surgeon Whiton, courthouse then PT.
Rondah, we wish Bailey good luck with his surgery!

  1. After you get done taking care of Laverne, can you come to SLC and take care of Bailey. We have WiFi.

  2. Best wishes to Bailey, as well...
Good advice, Sheilah. Bottom line, we are reverting to 6-year-olds when down there: Doing as told! I plan to document things with my camera phone, in order to make sure I leave things in proper order! Off to Minneapolis for a little R & R, before I attend the Big League.

    1. You're right! Chuck showed me what the extension cord should look like after putting it away; I was going to take a photo because by the time I got done it looked nothing like it should! Maybe Mike can fix it...he had special velcro ties that I had to put together into 1 tie.
